Kansas Star Slot Machine Rtp
Well I'm completely done 'donating' anymore $$$$ to my local, Kansas Star Casino (Boyd Gaming & Kansas Lottery). I have had some great wins and good times, but after a very loooong losing streak there, I have thrown in the towel. The place has really gotten tight, and by following the monthly ledger sheet from Boyd and Ks Lotto, I have realized it's not just me. They are bringing in record $$$$ and increased profits month after month, but everyone I know that slots there are never finding lady luck. A friend of mine has a brother that is a senior slot tech and he admitted that they have around 1700 of there machines set at 87.98%-89.5% payback. Total number of slots on site is 1850-ish. The remaining 100+ are set between 90%-94.5% and are in constant rotation of what are playable and what are BR vacuums. He also said that they have over 800 slots that are Server Based and that changes are approved within hours the same day because Boyd is just running the place for the Lottery which owns all the machines and has 2 reps on site at all times. All this adds up to a reason of...#1. State owned Casino. #2. No competition (Newkirk, Ok NA Casinos are 1 hour away...). The fact that it sits directly on Interstate I-35 just south of Wichita and will always bring in passerbys has me thinking they will just use the local players as suckers because they will always be able to pull in people off the highway...#3. Lotto tells Boyd what they want every day/week/month and Boyd delivers. There last few earnings calls have stated that Kansas Star is there top performing location by far.
Another load of bullhonkey is the players club is still NOT part of Boyd B-Connected, after they have stated many times over the last 12+months that it would be converted to B-Connected within a short time of the permanent casino opening, which opened officialy last December. So anything you wager there while playing with your card doesnt count toward anything in any of Boyd's Vegas properties, yet they are always advertising to patrons about making a trip to Vegas and playing and staying with Boyd!!
To make things more crappy there, the fact that cell phone service inside the building is non-existant and they have said for over 1 1/2 years now that they are working on it. LOL. I don't think so!!
If you are passing thru south central Kansas and see the Huge Ks Star LED Sign at the Mulvane, Ks exit on I-35, just keep driving until you get to Oklahoma or north to Topeka or KC, because the Star is a stop you will most likely regret. Even the napkins at the self-serve drink stations say 'This isn't just a napkin, It's a GREAT BIG Thank you from the Star!!' Hahaha...Pa-lease!!
So on an ending note, I will now only make the occasional trip to Oklahoma or Topeka/KC area and just keep saving up and building a good BR for the next Vegas trip in early Oct.!!
Good luck to everyone out there where ever you may be slotting!!
